A garden bench placed in a lawn is not just a place to sit and enjoy the outdoors, but becomes a centre of interest, a landmark, a place that attracts the eye, thanks to the charm that outdoor furniture gives to gardens.
The multiple and varied use of this garden bench must be able to adapt to every type of garden and space, which is why its shape is neutral and simple.
The classic typology of the English wooden 'banc' is the formal and conceptual reference. A series of formal, functional, production and commercial problems were solved, but above all, the project consisted of trying to evoke the 'idea' of the garden bench.
